ŁUKASIEWICZ REASEARCH NETWORK – PORT POLISH CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

The Łukasiewicz – PORT Polish Center for Technology Development is a part of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the third-largest research network in Europe, connecting over 22 institutes from across Poland.

Łukasiewicz – PORT develops new technologies for industry. The research activity of the center focuses on materials science and biotechnology. Institute employs respected and ambitious scientists. They work using the infrastructure of modern research laboratories and the help of the support team.

Łukasiewicz – PORT supports the development of Polish companies and start-ups, such as XTPL or SensDx, and at the same time is a reliable and desirable partner for international corporations such as Roche, Pfizer, Amgen, and LG.

The Pracze Campus is the headquarters of the Łukasiewicz – PORT. This complex of brick buildings, along with the adjacent area, was constructed between 1899 and 1913 based on architectural designs by notable figures such as Karl Klimm, a master of neo-Gothic brickwork, Richard Plüddemann, and Max Berg. The entire campus covers an area of 27 hectares.

    1. MPK Wrocław buses lines: 101, 103, 107 (to station: Pracze Odrzańskie - stacja kolejowa). One way ticket cost 4,60 PLN, 24h ticket 15 PLN - you can buy it in the bus, by card.
    2. Train PKP (from main railway station Wrocław Główny to Wrocław Pracze - aprox. 15min away). One way ticket cost around 8 PLN - you can buy it on the train from the conductor or at the ticket office at the main station.
